Ready for Reset Button!!

Well, last night was the end for Milan's journey for 2011/2012 season. Kalah dari Inter memang pahit, apalagi kalau sampai menyebabkan Milan tanpa gelar musim ini. Losing sucks!!! I won't put any sugar on that..it just sucks badly, especially after a great start we had (note: whenever i say "we" I mean Milan and I). We had a chance to compete for three titles (Champions league, serie a, dan coppa), but one by one the hope has been crushed by bitter reality. We ended up with nothing this year.
Antonio Nocerino, the midfielder, gave a great post-match comment last night: "Unfortunately tonight when I saw Abbiati and Bonera leave the field, it was the story of our entire season. The important thing is that even with so many injuries we were in it to win it right until the end. This team and this club never wastes time with ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ and next season we’ll be aiming once again for the Champions League, the Scudetto and the Italian cup. We gave all we had in the face of a lot of difficulties but we were up against a team that never lost and that’s why credit goes to them. They did well."
Yup, I am so proud of this team. We never waste time with something that we can't change, always focus on what in front of us. This season might be over, but it is not the end of the world, there is always the next season, a chance to push the reset button.
Today we would put our sackloth robe on and mourn about how close we were in winning this championship. But that would be the last time you saw us mourning. This wednesday we have a game to win, a chance to conclude this chapter with a winning, a winning that we all deserve to have after a great fight we put for the entire season.
Don't grudge for undeserved penalties we received during a match against barca, don't grudge over disallowed fair goal against juventus...that's life, accept the reality, sometimes it smiles on us, but sometimes it could turn his back on us as well.
The most important thing is be prepared...don't waste a chance to reset next season. Regardless what happened to us this season, the next season all teams will start with 0 point, all equal.
Stop depending too much on ibra and silva. Find a better playmaker to share ibra's burden. Some strong and agile midfielders to replace gattuso and ambrosini should be considered. Abate, De sciglio, sharawy...improve skills and mentality...forget the mistakes you made this season, all great players had done it before, don't let them blocking ur way to improve.
